Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 12

1. Checking in
2. Student discussion x 2
3. Activity: List of possible topics for the in-class essay next week. Time to prepare notes for each one. I'll give you five questions; you pick one, and respond in an essay. (Note that I wrote an advanced intro and conclusion for The Road on the in-class writing page)
4. Recap of essay structure, an odd website for analysis sentences, and transition words.
5. Time to brainstorm notes, alone or in a group.

6. Next class: finish the book! There will be an open-book quiz of 9 multiple choice questions on Wednesday, followed by the Friday in-class essay.
