Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 12

1. Checking in.
2. Discussion on Worksheet questions of The Yellow Wallpaper, and on "Why I wrote." Should we consider the author's thoughts on their work?
3. Inquiry: asking synthesis questions
4. Activity: Create synthesis questions between "This is Water" and "The Yellow Wallpaper" and answer it with analysis.

Ways to frame the question:

- Find similarities and/or differences between: characters, settings, ideas, figurative language
- Ask how one character might react to something in the other text
- Anything that forces the two texts together, and for you to make an argument

5. Hand out book of poetry
6. Next class, read poem "Ode on a Grecian Urn".
