Sept. 20, 2018

Hello! Here's what we're up to today:

English 10 (NM)

1. Checking in.

- I'm officially putting "Romeo and Juliet" in the second unit, from November to the end of December.
- I put the wrong date for the quiz and poster next week, which I have now updated. It's on Monday.

2. Freewrite and discussion: How would you change the education system?
3. TED Talk
4. Discussion
5. Prep for quiz

- An example from Grade 9
- To prepare:

1. Have a clear grasp of the three texts. Comprehend, understand, and analyse.
2. Review literary terms we've looked at.
3. Consider questions I might ask, by applying the literary terms to the three texts.
