How is a persuasive essay different from a literary analysis essay?

- Your main goal is to convince the reader of a specific position
- Topic can include examples from any relevant source
- Tone is far more biased, and can be more informal
- Usually acknowledges the "other" side at least once, to tear it down
- Here's a good guideline for persuasive essay (note for yours, you won't be able to do research)
